This would be a chassis cab. Ddey, why do you discount the 1973-1974 model years as possibilities? |

Because of the cowl insignia. I can't see it that well, but the blurred shape of it does enough to convince me it's neither a Chevy or GMC from 1973 or 1974. -- Last edit: 2010-03-03 02:14:09 |

I'm going to have to say that this is a 1973-1974 Chevrolet C-30 Custom. It can't be a 1975+ model as in that case the trim would be Custom Deluxe (but the name badge on the side does not seem to be long enough to spell that out). Also, I doubt it's a GMC as the 1973-1974 models had a unique rectangular chrome badge, which this one seems to lack. And the Chevrolet's were more widely used anyways so I think it's fairly safe to say that it's a Chevrolet. |

Stake trucks don't seem to be a common option for the 1973-87 C/K "Rounded-line" trucks line. But they were likely sold that way, as for previous trucks lines, and not as transformed pickups nor as "Chassis Cab" models. In the IMCDb, they're usually classified as "Class: Trucks, Simple truck". This truck doesn't seem to have dual rear wheels. Couldn't it be a C-20 model too? If sure of the C-30 Stake: ⇒ 1973 Chevrolet C-30 Stake? Or: ⇒ 1973 Chevrolet C-Series Stake? (in both cases with Class: Trucks, Simple truck) -- Last edit: 2015-01-05 03:19:38 |

This 2wd truck clearly has dual rear wheels. C30 |
