The container lift, not the truck.

The truck is an International 4070B. Most likely a late 70's early 80's.

So, the word on the one you found is Fantuzzi.

I wonder if this is a Fantuzzi. There can't be a lot of manufacturers of these.

Fantuzzi/Regiane was a truly global business group with an annual turnover approaching 1.5 billion Euros. Fantuzzi manufacturing plants can be found in Italy (side loaders), Germany and China. Fantuzzi has been manufacturing for over 40 years, initially producing 40 ton container handling side loaders. Fantuzzi side loaders now hold an enviable reputation for quality and longevity. The range covers 3 to 52 tons, diesel, electric and LPG.

As you may be aware Terex acquired Fantuzzi in totality (including Fantuzzi Noell UK) during 2009, this acquisition is now fully complete and they have spent time consolidating their position.

Fantuzzi USA, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Illinois in March of 1993. The company is the U.S. subsidiary of Fantuzzi-Reggiane S.p.A. The office is the main sales and distribution office of sideloaders for the United States and Canada.

Could be a Fantuzzi if there were Fantuzzis in the U.S.A. before there was Fantuzzi USA, which there could have been.

Some other Fantuzzis - any connection through the Italian origins??

I like the example of the side loader as a forklift. It gives unobstructed view of what you're lifting. Instead of a traditional forklift where the mast partially blocks your view. Sometimes worse than partially. Are there small sideloader forklifts?

I am now convinced this is a Fanztuzzi

notice this SC400 while not identical, the chassis IS identical !!! , same fender shape, same rear , also the slopped engine bay at rear
