The car is actually a 1957 Mercury Montclair convertible. It's Fiesta Red and Classic White with a red and white interior. It is driven by Ty Hardin's character, "Stretch" Fortune, and gets lots of screen time. In a chase scene near the end of the movie, it is run off the road and morphs into a 1954 Mercury Monterey convertible before flipping over and bursting into flames. |
