I am fairly sure this is a Seagrave firetruck - it looks to be a chemical truck rather than a pumper. At a guess it probably dates from the mid 1920s. |

To add to confusion, here is a 1920 Seagrave that was fitted with a later radiator after an accident. The later radiator matches those seen in this movie. http://www.lastresortfd.org/1920-seagrave.htm |

These scenes were lifted from the 1947 Columbia Pictures release of 'It Had To Be You' starring Cornell Wilde, as a fireman. Although filmed on the Columbia Ranch it was set in New York, hence the FDNY on the equipment box on the running board. |
