:) It doesn't show any of the typical details of Slough built 2CVs like special bumpers, hubcaps and the like, but by the location of the license plate on the right wing it will be a GB car, nevertheless. Therefore it must be one of the very few imported, Belgian built RHD 2CVs from 1956, originally meant to be exported to Nigeria, but at the end adapted to the British market.

1956 was a typo, sorry. I meant 1965 ;)

(in 1956 British 2CV were built in Slough)

Just slightly suspicious of a white plate on UK car as early as 1968 - seems a year or two early. Pity, because I like the rest of the story.

Compulsory from Jan 1973, and optional for a few years before that but I can't find a date for first availability. However I don't think any other car in this film has reflectives unless I've missed one. For interest - anything else you know about the Nigerian 2CVs in Britain - how many? did they come through Citroen dealers?
