The hood mascot is the winged Bentley " B".A late thirties Bentley Derby 3.5 or 4.5 litre drophead coupe but coachwork ?? .It is peculiar in that it has a divided two piece windshield and two rear top windows |

The car does have a one-piece windscreen. What appears to be a divider is in fact a rod mounted inside to which the rear view mirror is attached. The coachwork is most likely by Park Ward on a 1936 Bentley Derby Chassis. |

I could check it out in the books, but cannot read the registration. What I already foundout is, that the first digit can't be a "D", "O" or "B"... if I would know the complete registartion, I could tell you which model it is, who bodied it, who owned it, etc... |

I´ll try to get a better capture of the license plate. |

I couldn´t get any better than this, and that doesn´t solve the first letter. Maybe it´s running on false plates?![]() Here are some more captures of the car: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sorry, no such reg.-number found in the files for any Derby-Bentley. It will probably only used during the filming or was changed only for a short period. Officially, there wa never any Derby-bentley registered long enough with this number that the reg found it's way into the books or worksfiles -- Last edit: 2006-04-16 07:29:33 |

It is, I agree, and it is for sale. It is a one-off body, specifically designed for Duncan McMartin, original registration number DGN300. -- Last edit: 2010-10-30 15:24:39 |

DGN 300 plate issued Sept-Oct 36 which agrees with last 2 entries. |
