Its supposed to be the same truck as here, but the lights and mud-guards are different and possibly the cab roof... /vehicle.php?id=274341 It has a Morris-Commercial grille and head-lights but the windscreen shape and cab scuttle are wrong for the LC series. Possibly they used whichever trucks were available and put a Morris-Commercial front on both. One is used for close-ups the other for the chase scene, all filmed at night. Alternatively its the same truck with different levels of modifications added during filming. -- Last edit: 2010-01-23 16:26:08 |

This is a Dodge, 1938+ IIRC, from the British factory at Kew. More details to follow (if I can find them). |

Further to the above ... not much help as to model names/numbers, but at least it confirms that this is a (Kew) Dodge: http://ccmv.fotopic.net/c861318.html (scroll down a bit). |

Good identification, chris40 An early 1940s Dodge 63A looks right to me as this 1943 example... http://www.flickr.com/photos/byjr/6026547304/ (link updated) -- Last edit: 2014-07-10 15:03:18 |

60 series (2-3 Ton) trucks were normal control this looks to be forward control so Dodge 81 3-4 Ton forward control 10ft 4in medium wheelbase as a minimum. |
