1960+ NSU-Fiat Jagst 770, to me. Which seems to be the first on the site. ![]() http://www.fiat600freunde.de/Typen/Typ_NSU.htm -- Last edit: 2010-01-14 21:30:45 |

There are some other, but listed as Neckar: /vehicles.php?make=neckar&model=jagst |

Ok, then it's a Neckar. |

Nice to see Neckar in Romania. ![]() I have something special to kick ![]() This is beautiful photo dated (surely) 1958. My expert on old Polish tables confirm date of registration this Fiat 600. http://wroclaw.hydral.com.pl/foto/257/257219.jpg Scene from highway around Wrocław (truly prewar Reischautobahn Breslau - Berlin). Try to repeat this light motive today. ![]() |

But the Autobahn is not in this original condition any more? ![]() In 2003 I've shot a similar pic: my K 70 on the old "Reichsstraße 1", leaving Elbing/Elblag in direction Königsberg/Kaliningrad. But this road never got the Autobahn-status, because it wasn't completed until 1945. Some bridges were built, but not the lanes underneath. After some kilometers it ends as a farmer's path to their fields. |

Any more. Truly its stayed in original shape long time, even to 90s on short highway A6 Szczecin - German border. The ruptures were repair by many asphalt fillings, sadly. Today tarmac is everywhere. You can see clinker still on few on-ramps at secondary road nr 142 from Szczecin-Dąbie to Lisowo near Chociwel. This is a 35 kilometers long beginning of never finished Reichsautobahn Berlin - Koenigsberg. The ruptured autobahn around Elbląg is a part of same project. http://www.berlinka.pcp.pl/berlinka_de.htm |

Sorry, the link doesn't work. This very interesting page contains many pics and facts about the Autobahn, too: http://www.lostplaces.de/ Strange, that many people don't know/accept it still today: no, Hitler is not the founder of the Autobahn. It was planned years before, in the 20ies. But due the German situation after the WWI and the economy-crises after 1929. it was never enough money for that, before Hitler picked up the idea. |

Strange. I always tried link before pasting and it worked. Try simpler way: http://www.berlinka.pcp.pl/berlinka.html I have deep respect for early autobahns planners. They developed highways with faraway future parameters, with elegant architecture of infrastructure, even for passengers joy of nice landscape views. In the begining only minor few percent of cars (able to maintain steady 130-160 km/h) could tap their whole designing speed. In 30s it was real masterpiece. Today we don't develope highways for +250 km/h cars. ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-01-15 16:12:20 |

770 was 1961+ (09.60+) - Fiat 600D was 1961 too. BUT as doors and engine lid isn't visible here, it can be also a 1960 only "Jagst", if same like in case of Fiat 600 it also had these indicators a year before introduction of the 767 ccm engine. I tried to confirm whether it was like that, and the only strong proof I was able to find is this pic (bottom of the site): Link to "auta5p.eu" It shows the same combination like in the 1960 Fiat - new indicators, but old windows in doors. -- Last edit: 2014-08-13 14:34:20 |
