The car has been identified, and the first year it was available identified, both quite correctly. However, since the plate was issued by the County of Stirling between April and October 1954, that is before the Series II, let alone the Series III, it is probably spurious. Possibly the owner was Frederick W. Grisewood, and, like me, he transferred his plate from car to car. (No, not that Freddie Grisewood! His middle name was Henry.) -- Last edit: 2023-05-02 20:14:43
