2 of them, with different sidelights - I guess the white one is earlier format. Presumably UK imports, unless anyone can find info for local or other South American build???

It seems, at first sight, to be utterly unlikely to find “English Ford” products in Chile, but a quick look revived ancient memories of economic geography lessons from the pre-electric guitar age (nearly).

The connection between the countries appears to have been stronger than the distance between them would suggest, with, as usual, mineral exploitation and railways providing reasons to treat. I cannot find any documentary evidence in the time available, but it seems unlikely that indigenous fabrication would be worthwhile, the importation of chassis/cab vehicles and local creation of bodywork being a more likely route. A further likelihood would be that Fordson tractors would form a spearhead for the trucks inasmuch as agencies could be started that way. It also occurs that a V8 petrol engined ET6 would not be that different from a USA built vehicle, so why bother setting up factories in this territory?

There is no mention of any Ford factory in Chile In Georgano’s, which does refer to facilities in Argentina and Brazil, both of which seem to follow USA Ford designs.
