In the episode, they mention the events depicted in the flashback occur in 1962. The black-on-yellow (1956 base) California plates are period correct, but the 1964 cars are anachronistic. They would have been issued yellow-on-black (1963 base) plates. In chicomarx's thumbnail, it appears both cars have the same front license plate number, 283PCI. In the close-up shots, the back plate is BLA530. |
