Hi. I own RHN 548, this was the only time it was used in Heartbeat. I was supposed to pick up a fictional police cricket team and take them somewhere but the plot was altered and all that happened was a 'drive by' alongside a canal at Leeds. Previous to this RHN 548 had been filmed and was used in the All Creatures Great and Small BBC TV series in the late 1980's. The coach was new in 1952, it was a Plaxton exhibit at the 1952 Commercial Motor Show before delivery to its owners Scott's Greys of Darlington. It was passed to Grierson's of Fishburn, Co Durham and eventually ended up in a scrap yard in the late 1970's. It was rescued and restored in the 1980's. I bought the coach in 2005 and brought it home to Scarborough where it was built in 1952. Keith. |

Plaxton Venturer bodywork. Only twenty-five of these coaches were built, and I believe RHN is one of only two that survive today. |
