Ambulance on a 1939-1947 Dodge one ton panel on the 133inch wheelbase ( WD-21) |
◊ 2015-02-26 02:36 |
1939-47 Dodge Job-Rated panel, i.e. T-Series for the 1939 MY, V-Series for the 1940 one, and W-Series from 1941 to 1947. This one has the 1941-47 cowl-mounted park lamps. Panels of that truck line were a ½-ton model (116"/2.95 m wheelbase) and a 1-ton one (133"/3.38 m wheelbase). As pilou already said, this ambulance is based on the long 133" wheelbase model: ![]() Which means indeed a WD-21 code (WD-20 was for the ¾-ton trucks). (About the TE-22 code that was formerly given to that truck: TE models were the 1939 only "standard"/medium-duty 1½-ton trucks, and the 22 complement was apparently given to the 160"/4.06 m wheelbase trucks) ⇒ 1941 Dodge W-Series Panel Ambulance [WD-21]? or ⇒ 1941 Dodge WD-Series Panel Ambulance [WD-21]? -- Last edit: 2015-02-26 02:51:10 |
