No 1997-2002. The mirrors are an a thicker base and this van is a real one of the NYPD (many are still running today). |

Those mirrors were used as early as 1995: Link to "www.usausedcars.net" also this can be no newer than 1998 based on the rear Econoline badge, in 1999 the badge changed to E*50 |

like I said in my post above these mirrors were used in 1995 as well (did you look at the picture of the 1995 that I linked? It has these mirrors as well as do plenty of others if you do a google image search for 1995 Econoline) My 1995 E250 has the mirrors pictures here and my 1997 E150 has the older style so they were both used together for a while. -- Last edit: 2011-09-04 03:47:34 |

I did look at the van in your link and looked up 1995 Ecocolines and have seen that the mirrors were only factory applied to conversion, up-trim and specialty units only. No commercial or base units had these side mirrors. The ones that the NYPD use are the bare bones models. |

hmmm I never thought of that, even though my 1995 is an XL Cargo van it does have power mirrors, which is why it has the mirrors pictured they are the power units and the odds of the NYPD vans having power are very slim I agree with you there so now we have it narrowed down to 1997-1998. good Job. |

It is a Clubwagon, but are called mainly Econoline (Clubwagon is a name for passenger models.) |
