2006-03-21 20:00 | Well then, that does it. I'm going out to rent the movie again. I was originally going to do it to find out about this truck; vehicle_25823-Unknown.html ...but now I'm going to use it for all the other unknowns. |
2006-03-21 20:15 | I wish you better luck than I had with the unknowns. This movie was very difficult to get good captures from - lots of smoke, people, and general mayhem plus my copy is a little fuzzy and the lighting for the movie is bad. |

2006-03-26 19:50 | Here's what I can tell you: 1936 Chevrolet Trucks had the headlights mounted to the fenders: http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/hale_andy_1936.html http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/images/hale_andy_1936e.jpg Starting in 1937 they were mounted on the grille: (1937) http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/images/douglas37after.jpg (1938) http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/images/lawrence_michael_1938a.jpg (1939) http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/images/keeling_jeff_1939a.jpg (and 1940) http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/images/hebert_ross_1940a.jpg So, as you can see by these photos, it couldn't be any later than 1938. |
