It's a Kässbohrer PistenBully - either a PB200 series, or, more possibly a PB300 or the PB 300 Kandahar (= special edition). I think the "Setra" was used for buses only. Setra is for "selbsttragend" (carrying itself), which meant the intregral body doesn't need a carrying frame. This was quite revolutionary when being invented. The Kässböhrer Setra bus company today is a part of EvoBus, which is the daughter of Daimler Chrysler where they merged their bus activities. They still have some facilities round the old Kässbohrer headquarter in Ulm, Germany. The all terrain vehicles part of the company - Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeuge AG - still is in the hands of the old owner family AFAIK. |
