I've seen a similar (if not identical) Cadillac called the Mirage. |

It's a custom job on the 1975 Cadillac Coupe de Ville chassis, with a headlight update from around 1977. You can see a few more similar conversions, including this one commissioned by Evel Knievel, on this web page: www.car-nection.com/yann/Dbas_txt/Drm70-74.htm |

I have seen and towed this car,(see my profile), It has an emblem on the right lower corner of the tailgate that said "Mirage" The car was titled as a 1974. |

The Cadillac "Mirage" pick up was made by Traditional Coach Works Ltd. of Los Angeles. |

This is a 1977 Cadillac that was owned by Evel. It is a Mirage, has small opera windows behind the cab. Orginal color was white, Evel had it later painted blue. Evel also had a 1974, Red Cadillac Pickup, that a Carl Green Enterprises in California put 1977 rectangular headlights in it, making it look alot newer. The Red pickup is owned by a gentleman in Eureka Kansas. Last time I spoke to Carl, he helped build the red pickup, it is not a Caribou according to him. |
