Since it has body-colored bumpers (with no grey strips) and the smaller headrests, wouldn't this be a 1990-1993 model? |

All 87-93 GT's had body colored bumpers and rubstrips (LX received them in 1992), but in my Mustang book they all have a red stripe (decal) in the rub strip, the book doesn't say anything about when the GT lost these stripes so that I don't know. The smaller headrests however is mentioned as being introduced for the 1991 model year so I guess this is a 91-93. The only brochure that I have from this generation of Mustang is a 1990 and it still had the larger headrests and red stripe (decal) in the rub strip. -- Last edit: 2009-11-10 18:47:46 |

You're right about the year range, I was only off by a year. Thanks! If I recall, though, there was someone here who could also point out the difference in the style of the side mirrors throughout this generation. I don't know if that applies in this case, though. |
