Not quite. This is actually a Club Wagon due to the chrome window molding. Econoline's never had chrome window molding. This one also does not have the Econoline front door badge either.

:hello: AnimatronixX. This was filmed in Italy according to Imdb. Not sure if that helps put a grasp on which company built this ambulance or shall we say converted :)

Edit: that is a Trinity. Hmmm maybe filmed in US after all? They weren't exported from my knowledge...

Trinity ceased production in 1968, so this is a Summers conversion.

And this wasn't filmed in Italy - Venice, Los Angeles, not Venice, Italy. ;) They sure were not exported, but still single units may have made their way to Europe.

Thank you AnimatronixX! Sorry for creating confusion! I thought they ceased in 1978. I guess I was reading about the other joint venture or just getting lost in the ambulance world :(

I was also using EMS Classics but I was wrong in this instance. I never mind being corrected and always happy to change the listing if it is wrong !

@dhill_cb7 No, that's absolutely fine! You put the Trinity badge on all these vans - that was the missing link and helped completing something that wasn't recorded so far. The result is that we now seem to have the only correctly tagged pictures of Summers' Ford ambulances on the internet and I think that's pretty exciting! :)
