It's '56 and I think isn't a Series 62. On front fender is visible not only what must be the Cadillac crest but also some script under it so could be a Fleetwood 60 Special or a Sedan DeVille. I think the 60 Special had solid chrome exhaust extension trim moldings on the rear fenders and, specially in the thumbnail, it doesn't looks like it. I'm leaning towards a '56 Cadillac Sedan (visible in the thumbnail, not in main pic) DeVille [6239DX].

Series 60 Specials came as 4-door (pillared) sedans only.
The car above appears to be a 2-door so also not a Sedan Deville.

1956 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan only the Cadillac crest on front fender. Sedan DeVille script under Cadillac crest. It's a Sedan DeVille

Nope. See others pics in this movie and you'll see the four doors /vehicle_253484-Citroen-Type-H.html /vehicle_253491-Opel-Rekord.html

Looking close, it does appear there is a rear door handle!
Sedan de Ville.

Actually it's way easier than you believe, as the Sedan de Ville (sic!) was Cadillac's only pillarless hardtop sedan in 1956, so no need to judge by crests and scripts. ;)

Wel, this is a 1956 Cadillac Sedan de Ville, the first production year of pillarless sedan.

A little de Ville history, my friends: introduced in 1949, the de Ville was available only as a two-door, pillarless hardtop, the Coupe de Ville, through 1955. In 1956, a four-door pillarless sedan was added, the first Sedan de Ville, as bentleydriver stated. Then, in 1964, the standard Sixty Two Series convertible was finally given a de Ville designation. In 1965, the first pillared Sedan de Ville was introduced. The de Ville convertible was dropped for 1971, and the last Coupe de Ville was manufactured in 1993, leaving just a four-door de Ville. In 2006, "de Ville" was initialized to DTS (de Ville Touring Sedan). Finally, in the DTS guise, the last vestige of Cadillac's legendary series rolled off the assembly line in 2011.
