The orange panel taking up the right 3/4 of this picture is the front hopper of an asphalt paver. The roller is on the wrong end of the paver. Trucks dump hot, movable, asphalt into the hopper. The asphalt is conveyed to the back of the paver where it is spread and smoothed out. The roller then further smoothes and compacts the fresh layed asphalt. A roller is never in front of a paver, always behind. |

Indeed, it's done for a gag in which Kermit's bicycle is crushed between the steamroller and paver because he rides between them as they're driving towards one another for some reason. |

I disagree, a Rex 10-12 is a type of water carrier.![]() This is a Rex RexRoll. A RexRoll is similar to an SP400, however it doesn't have a sloped front hood. ![]() |
