- probably a 3 star role at least... in this one single episode, as the car is an integral part of the story. the killer baits in his latest potential victim by offering the z-car for sale online, then kidnaps her on the return leg of the test drive. later in the story the authorities connect the missing girl with the kidnapper through the discovery of a datsun magazine in her living room, then profile the killer partially based on the car. near the end of the show, the kidnapper switches vehicles with a co-worker to slip away unnoticed while the other man is followed in the z-car. the datsun, and the unwitting co-worker are subsequently stopped by the authorities, and the innocent co-worker is ordered out of the car, while the real criminal is miles away. |
