From late '50s, Japanese police was used second-hand 1951Chevy. these Chevy was formally used by U.S. Militaly Police and was conveyed to Japan. After the war, many Koreans were steal passage to Japan and they became gangster. They were use American V8 and easily ranaway from small Japanese police car, so the old Chevy was introduced as a police car.
