Very cute, but Volkswagen AG could consider it not a very flattering touch for the company's product history and react with an objection! |

To admins (and curious people ): Like CougarTim said, it's not a Subaru Libero, it's the smaller version (Kei-car) Subaru Sambar with "VW look". Like this one and this one. All further researches show it was made from a (jp)1990–1998 version of the Sambar. (I don't read Japanese, but automatic translators don't show a more precise data than "5th generation Sambar", i.e 1990–1998, in that text...) Named "VW T2 Lookalike", "VW Look", "VW Replica", "Retro style", "mini vw camper look alike", "VW Mini-Bus Minivan", "VW kit", "Sambar VW Mini-Bus", etc. depending on the website you visit. Did this vehicle had a genuine name? The two already identified in IMCDb are noted as Subaru Sambar 'VW Look'. I think VW Replica would be better, but of course this is just my own personal opinion => 1990 Subaru Sambar 'VW look/Replica'. For the three concerned vehicles. -- Last edit: 2014-03-17 22:43:05 |
