1924 Rolls Royce 40-50 hp Silver Ghost with Pall Mall Sport Phaeton body. Build by Rolls Royce US Springfield Mass. on the Silver Ghost chassis ,it had an impressive wheelbase of 143 inches , 19 inch tires, and the L-head Silver Ghost engine of 4 1/2" x 4 3/4" with dual magneto ignition.A similar surviving car is listed in post wwII Floyd Clymer's Historical Motor Scrapbook n° 3 of the series. |
