Are there any shots of the rear, preferably the name badge? |

Badge on the hood. |

I'm talking about the rear name badge. |

man it would have been a lot easier if Ford had changed the name with the 03 face lift...or better yet if they hadn't changed it at all |

We can use this until otherwise we can find other ways to identify certain model year. -- Last edit: 2009-09-03 02:56:51 |

No offense but that doesn't really help much in this case, if at all. |

^ I disagree, there are plenty of vehicles on this website that we have no way of knowing what the exact year is. So it was my understanding that we just list it as The first year of the body style or the first year that the vehicle can be based on other reasons. This is done in practice to most other vehicles on this site. Using this logic this one should be listed as a 1997 until and/or when other shots or information becomes available to update the year |

That's not how I meant it though. It seemed as if his first comment was answering my question, when it had nothing to do with it in the first place. To be honest I was confused by what he was trying to say. Besides, if he was trying to narrow down the years mentioning the badge on the hood isn't really the best detail as 1992-2002 models had those. It would have been better to mention the design of the grille if he wanted to narrow down the year range. Point is, his comment seemed extremely random to me. -- Last edit: 2009-09-03 05:19:30 |

^ Ah, I gotcha, yeah that is true the "badge on hood" line kinda got me too. |

Unfortunately that doesn't narrow it down. Thanks anyways. Now if I could only find out when those side mirrors were first used |
◊ 2009-09-03 21:59 |
^ The mirrors won't help narrow it down either as those are the same as the ones found on my 94 and 97 econolines |

The fake/prop U.S. Government plate has the wrong font. It looks like they used the font from California license plates. Notice the "open" 4 instead of a "closed" 4, and the "diagonal" 9 instead of the "j-curve" 9. U.S. Government California -- Last edit: 2012-02-11 05:08:03 |

I can see enough that that is the 1997-1998 Econoline badge. [E-350] model as well. -- Last edit: 2013-02-07 03:10:24 |

Club Wagon badge. They are the same length and they also have that extra rear window. |
