White wagon in the background is a Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vista (sold as a Mitsubishi elsewhere).

Taxi guy I think the second generation of Luminas was produced 'til 2001. And the Lumina was the full-sized sedan of Chevy from 1997 to 1999, because the production of Caprices was discontinued in '96, as the Impalas. Nevertheless, the Impala was relaunched in late '99 for the 2000 model year.

That guy is just so irritating, my patience is growing thin with him... he says the stupidest things, many of his comments are identifying cars that have been ID'ed months or years ago and he never says any new or helpful information.

Just ask ford guy, he often seems even more annoyed with him than I am.

Aaah, stay cool, taxiguy. ;)
I'm very often rolling my eyes though mister car's comments, too (corrections aren't useful, he never reacts on them), but then I'm smiling again. I'm imaging for myself, how he sits in front of his computer, a young, clueless boy, who jumps exicted up and down, when he has found again something unknown and strange (in his eyes, not in the eyes of the others) and must write it down immediately. :D

I get the feeling, ingo. I guess we need to deal with newcomer from time to time.

He's not the only one. Do you see, what the newbie "Willie" posting right in this minutes? :/

Anyways, he will be smoother sooner or later, too. Hopefully. But sometimes it's getting worse. Think about the banned clown from the Faeroer Islands. Or the well-known Explorer 4x4 from Alaska.

But for me it's not a big problem - often I really have to lough about the postings of these guys.

We can always gently explain to the newcomer by linking to the reputable sites or pointing out with our imcdb link as well :D

mister car is by no means a newcomer... he's been here as long as me, longer maybe. And as ingo said he never responds to comments, just makes them once and never looks back at them again.

Like Neptune says, be nice ... mister car's probably missing Guadeloupe; there can't be a fat lot to do in Alaska or the Faroes, even this time of year, and for all I know that applies to Serbia too - it's the one bit of former YU I've never been to.
btw, Antoine, shouldn't we be splitting Serbia and Montenegro?

This is a disadvantage here, that you cannot send private messages. So finally you never can reach somebody, who doesn't look to his previous comments.

1997 LS at the latest. It has the leather seats which first became optional on the LS Lumina in 1997. Is the red car in the thumb the same car? Those wheels were not an option on the LS at the time. don't have the 1996 brochure, so I can't say if it was optional only then.

I've been breaking my head over these Luminas all afternoon. :D

Ah, I see leather seats were also optional on the LS starting in 1996. I can't see if the base wheels were also optional that year due to the shimmer of light on that part of the page.

So for now this is a 1996-97 LS.

Not a 1995 by the darker red. So I agree to place at 1996 and LS by the leather.
