Even the Waldorf-Astoria is offering bargain-tourist-packages today. The times have changed...

That one, I've found in an actual brochure, makes me think to go to N.Y again in the next months. I don't care about the name of a hotel, but -no kidding- this Waldorf-Astoria-offer costs not much more we've paid in 2003 for the middle-class Milford Plaza.

I reckon The Plaza is probably New York's greatest hotel. First saw it in Home Alone 2 when I was a kid, so that's where I'd stay.... if I could afford it.

If you ever visit North Carolina, and are of class and have a taste for fine living accommodations, I would highly recommend staying
at the hill-side 213 room "Inn" located on the Biltmore Estate. The Inn keeps with old wealth tradition and remains inspired by the Vanderbilt
influence. Plus you are never more than a hop, skip and jump away from the Biltmore Manor (Its argued to be the most prestigious and luxurious
mega manor in North America. It is the largest house in the U.S. at 175,000 square feet with 250 rooms) Prince Charles has been there among others ...

Land Rover holds a driving school on the Biltmore Estate that covers 4,000 acres out of the estate's 8,000 acres.
I myself have wanted to attend an off-road driving school for some time. I think Land Rover’s school is the best Candidate as its actually quite cheap
compared to others.

Is the Biltmore "orign USA" or it's a European (French, I would say) castle, broken down there and built up again Overseas?

I've learned to drive off-road for free. I even got a few Pennies for it - in 1990/91 at the Bundeswehr, on a Mercedes G-Klasse (the "Wolf" in military diction). :)

The Vanderbilt Biltmore Manor was designed by Richard Hunt and was built were it stands.
The estate grounds and gardens were designed by Frederick Olmsted (all 8,000 acres I believe)
