"Dead" people hanging out of windows/doors cliché ... |

They're not dead, they've just been gassed (although at first we're led to believe the gas is fatal). |

Oh, Ok. Well that "hanging out of windows/doors" thing is usually employed in older films. I guess they want to get the point across that the people are dead ( or in this case, incapacitated) |

Haha, I saw one of those movies yesterday: /vehicle_236103-Ford-Taunus-17M-P5-1965.html |

Yeah, this is an early Bond film so it's probably full of old cliches (ticking bomb, ricocheting bullet sounds during gunfights, sped-up bits in car chases), but it's still a classic. The funny thing is when Pussy Galore's female pilots fly over the base releasing the nerve gas, the soldiers all pass out instantly and in perfect unison. -- Last edit: 2009-06-29 23:19:12 |

They mentioned in the documentary about making the film, that the soldiers were paid in cases of beer to "pass out" when the director blew his whistle twice. And it was mentioned in the film (not the documentary), that Pussy Galore had switched out the nerve gas in the tanks on the planes of her pilots and replaced it with a harmless substance before her pilots took off for Fort Knox. |
