Could it be a Custom, Galaxie or even a LTD?

I think the badge on the front fender makes this a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 XL.

Only according this 66 Ford production http://www.lovefords.org/tech/production/66.htm there weren't XL four door. Failanes were pillared. What looks vinly roof I think makes it hardtop so could be a Galaxie 500 4-door Hardtop http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00018724 http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00094139 or a LTD 4-door Hardtop http://www.classicfords.us/ (roll down 1/3, the clear bue) http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars_for_sale/1966_Ford_LTD_61402460_4 . Both with Ford script and badge in the top of the hood. The two littles external differences I've found are, while in Galaxies 500 there is a vertical trim in front fender (near the headlights) in LTDs there is a horizontal chromed trim in that place and, in rear quarter of the roof and next to the rear window there is a round emblem-badge. In 3rd. thumbnail, even adding extra light, I don't see that round emblem (probably it's too dark) but enlarging main pic I think we could see the vertical trim I said (if it were there, and it isn't) and I only see some horizontal trim near the headlights like LTDs http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars_for_sale/1966_Ford_LTD_61402460_4
So I would go for a '66 LTD 4-door Hardtop [57F]
