Yep that's a Morris Minor on the left, on the right is an Austin Healey Sprite, known in Europe as the Frogeye and in the US as a Bugeye, with a non standard rollbar. |

The "import car boom" started after the 1958 recession...people bought little cars like this because they were cheaper and a little easier on gas. Keep in mind, gasoline was actually more expensive then that it was today when you factor inflation. |
