Agree car is S3 - Oct 60-Aug 62, but has 1964 B-plate. |

Looks like Series IV, main evidence being amber lenses in front indicators. If Bebert's thumb is of same car, then chrome bars across boot-lid plus 'B' plate are conclusive, as Series IV ran from autumn 1962 to autumn 1964. |

As the caption says, it's a Series IV, you can identify it due to stainless steel trim that is on either side of the number plate/reversing light housing. Sad I know but I did own one for just over a year. |

No, it's a Series IV from 1964. Stainless steel trim on boot lid and the Snipe Bird badge below, also a unique enamel Super Snipe badge on the grill that only appeared on the Series IV. |
