This looks like the vehicle producer William Asher used when he made a cameo appearance in an episode of Bewitched. Could be his actual truck. |

Had to laugh because I looked up this cameo that Bill Asher was in, and it is season 5, episode 6 entitled "Mirror, Mirror On the Wall". Endora casts a spell on Darrin to make him exceedingly vain, and while he is waiting at a traffic light, he begins obsessing over his appearance in the car mirror. The "guy in the El Camino" (Bill Asher) gets impatient after the light changes and no movement. "Let's go, Beautiful!", Darrin moves on, but the El Camino stalls to the chagrin of tits driver and the impatient line of cars behind. I HAD to check out the scene. A user on another forum was grateful that someone confirmed that role was Bill Asher, but REALLY funny is that the user said "I swear that he says "F---" when his car stalls." Sure enough, you can see him mouthing some stuff, including that, and probably "B----". Hah, what they tried to sneak in past the censors in the 1960s! That's Hollywood! |
