Could also be a '98, since '98 was the first year Chevy's captive imports used the Chevy name instead of the Geo name in '89 to '97. |

^ No it could not be a 1998. While it is true that 1998 was the first year that Geo's were called Chevrolets again. The 1998 Tracker was exactly the same as 96-97 Geo Trackers save for the emblems. This is a 2nd Generation Tracker which started in 1999 |
