Yeah, for the shooting of the chase scene, both cars had their drivetrains switched to a Ford V8 and a Ford three-speed automatic (351 V8 and C3 transmission I believe, although it's been a while since I read the article). They were also AWD, just so they could get both cars moving. |

for this movie all the astons and the jags were fitted with ford F130 gearbox, engine, chassis and drivetrain. they were also fitted with large airbags to the bases so if the cars broke through the ice they would not sink |
