The 1980 LeBaron was the basis for the New Yorker/Fifth Avenue models. The difference being that the later models had a different roof treatment. The car in this pic had that the New Yorker/Fifth Avenue roof treatment as well as a slightly different grill design. -- Last edit: 2009-04-10 04:13:57 |

Why is "Fifth Avenue" in the extra information section? Was it a trim? I thought it was a separate model. |

if these are listed as "New Yorker" at all, they should be listed as "New Yorker Fifth Avenue" with "Fifth Avenue" as part of the model name (not a trim level), since it actually indicates a totally different platform... this body style was: 1982-83 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue, or 1984+ Chrysler Fifth Avenue. -- Last edit: 2010-08-15 04:53:39 |

CHMSL is 1986 of course, but air bag was first available in these for the 1988 model year. |
