Designed by the U.S. Military/Army’s National Automotive Center (NAC) It is based on a Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab Chassis. Vehicle is fully armored and upon request, via the truck’s main controlling computer, it will defend itself and it’s occupants with lethal force if necessary. It is a working concept, all of it’s defenses are fully operational. They include electrified door handles, night vision, oil slick deployment, tacks deployment, smoke screen, run flat tires, percussion grenade launcher, finger-print identification, adaptable turret, full exterior/interior armament to highest possible level. Seen in Extreme Machines episode: "Armored Cars" |

Hi Neptune, I'm a big fan of the smartruck line and noticed that those pix you posted must be from the smartruck I video in 2001, which I haven't been able to get a hand on.. any chance you have that smartruck I video? I'm trying to collect them and right now I only have the videos for smartruck II & III. It'd be greatly appreciated if you could send me a copy if you get a second. kakattack@hotmail.com Thanks, Sandhogz |

I’ve seen the footage of the vehicle, but those captures came from a Extreme Machines episode (strange that it’s listed as a documentary) and I don’t have that episode saved to my home PC anymore. |
