I wonder, if these models should go under Shelby brand, these cars do not have Ford or Mustang logos.

Cinema Vehicle Services actually produced 12 different "Eleanors" for use in the production of this film. None of the 12 were actual Shelby Mustangs but converted standard 1967 Mustang fastbacks and are thus just customized 67 Mustangs with very little optical resemblence to an actual 67 Shelby.
Wow, even I am confused now.

Of those cars, seven survived the filming in various states of repair. A 13th Eleanor, based on a real '67 Shelby GT500 was prepared by Cinema Vehicle Services for producer Jerry Bruckheimer, but
that car did not appear in the film.
The only true Shelby GT500 in the movie was given to Nicolas Cage's character by Giovanni Ribisi's character at the end of the movie. The real owner consented to the vehicle being used as long as it
was returned in the original condition. Every part that could be unbolted, was unbolted and replaced by
a junked replacement part for the scene.

Chip foose also helped to design the new "Foose Stallion" which has the same piant color, racing stripes, and light position as Eleanor. it also has mild engine upgrades.
Once in a while, these Eleanors pop up on eBay, claiming to be an authentic movie car, when it's not. It's just a mustang I turned into eleanor.

Eleanor has captured me: I always thought custom Mustang would suck really hard, I was a purist, yes, but the she came along and blew that stupid idea right away! I saw an original 'movie'-car from her in real life and again, she captured me.

Apparently I'm the only person who thinks this car is freaking hideous. It's an insult to the real 1967 G.T. 500.

It's a little too ostentatious, I'm also more partial to a stock GT500 (but I also prefer the Charger from Bullitt to the General Lee).

It is a fake Shelby , if you watch the movies special features it shows them building the car and painting it. There are a few real GT500 KR s that have been "done up" to resemble Eleanor.

i dont know what some of you people are talking about, ok the 1967 shelby mustang gt500 isnt the best car in the world but it is my all time favourite car not only for what it can do but for its looks and style i would much rather drive that than a ferrari enzo or a aston martin db9.The car in the movie had a ford 425 engine that pumps out 650 bhp and close to 1000 bhp with nitro and a body kit, functional side pipes, mag rims, sport tires and a hood scoop. my favrit car ever.
