1978 Dodge Monaco, not 1974. The trim is different. Either it is 1978 or a Royal Monaco. |

Listen Explorer 4x4. It is a regular Monaco. 1. Police fleets would buy the base models 2. Royal Monacos would have headlights like 70's Lincolns/Mercurys. It is a 1975 Dodge Monaco. |

It's not a '78. '77 and '78 models had stacked retanngular headlights (see Dukes of Hazzard for example). That car in the picture above is a '74 or '75. The main difference between a '74 and '75 is that '74 models had horizontal bars for a grille and '75 had an eggcrate grille. |

I agree it's a '75, just see the one used in Halloween (first movie) it's a '74 |

1975 Monaco, eggcrate grill, most dukes cars were the B body Moanco's and Fury's. Very few were the C body 74-77 Monaco's. The first and second season used the most of the C bodies. And the opening of every show used the 75 when the General jumped it. The 74 Monaco also has a smaller front bumper than the 75. I know I own both a 75 and 74. |

Should be a 3-star car based on its screen-time and use by both Donald Pleasence and Charles Cyphers. It's seen way more than the Econoline: /vehicle_21828-Ford-Econoline-1975.html |
