Looks like a Buick of the 1980's. |

I think it is a Buick too, but that design started in 1977. For model, I would pick an Electra Estate based on that aluminum panel between the two right rear windows. Comments?? |

The taillights look like those of a Buick but the tailgate door isn't... It's certainly not a 1977 Electra as in 1977, the Estate Wagon with exterior trim from the Electra 225 model was named "Buick Estate Wagon Limited" The tailgate door (which doesn't match the rest of the car) had a third brake light in it. |

Here's another interesting information that someone gave me on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/45904802@N08/6603902987/ "The European export tail lights were Buick style with Amber( turn Signal) at the top half which were also used on the Pontiac European models also adifferent wire & harness." Those on this car don't have amber lenses but I guess there should be some european examples with them. -- Last edit: 2012-01-03 10:27:53 |

Actually, based on the chrome pillar behind the back door, and the style of the tailgate, I think this is a 1988 Pontiac Safari with 1977 Buick Electra taillights http://images.thetruthaboutcars.com/2009/11/CC-38-042-800.jpg |
