This one will not be easy... It is a milk truck, and the scene is in UK if I remember well -- Last edit: 2010-12-18 13:57:43 (vilero) |

I guess this one is a Bugden Milk Float. |

The load area/rear deck on the Budgen looks to be of a lot lower height than he movie vehicle, see the stepped-down roof height, also the front headlight arrangement looks different I think. There were other narrow width milk floats (Electruk Rider and Ross Helec for example) but I cannot find any with the rear deck and canopy as shown in the movie. -- Last edit: 2007-05-14 12:48:52 |

The Electruk and Ross/Helecs had rather small wheels and were based on the Express Dairy chassis design produced by their subsidiary T.H.Lewis Ltd. Quite a number of coach builders provided special bodies, so this might be one. I would say for the moment 'Bugden' is the closest we get. I haven't got the DVD and cannot look for better images. Perhaps someone else could do that. |

Alexander I believe you are right in saying that there are a number of special bodies or chassis that were re-bodied and existed in the past and that might be a problem when trying to identify them. |

Found the identical cab on a Morrison-Electricar Milk Float from the early 1960s as here http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p194645998/h2648abd7#h2648abd7 (latest link up-dated) Windscreen, wiper housing headlight and bumper all match. -- Last edit: 2011-08-15 12:22:22 |

This location is the London Wall, City of London. The Midland bank seen in the backgroud behind the milk float is now a Chinese Restaurant. |
