It was for the sedan going backwards; but I do not know who changed category to hatchback... (or was the sedan even less worth listing?) -- Last edit: 2009-02-16 14:45:00 |

The sedan is a 9000, isn't it? |

It actually looks more like a Lancia Thema, but I doubt that was available in this market (USA, I presume)? |

Maybe Saab, that would explain why I found it interesting ![]() I was not really sure what it could be, knowing this was North-America ![]() Indeed it reminded me the Lancia (which is close to the Saab anyway) |

It's not a SAAB 9000 anyway. |

It could be a diplomat's car. When I visited New York in 1995, I saw a (European) Ford Escort with diplomatic plates outside the office of the Austrian delegation to the UN. It was pretty old, so I wondered why the owner bothered to have it shipped around the world. |

The thing is that it indeed resembles a Thema a lot, could it be one then? |

I think it's a Thema too. That's why I mentioned the idea of being a diplomatic car. |

So that's a good idea that I had to list this one (and that I checked it again when it was renamed to Chevy Sprint...) |

It's so rare to see a Lancia from the late 80's and early 90's in the U.S.!! |

Yes, it is a Thema 1a or 2a serie...never seen it with US specs...It was not officially sold in USA ![]() |
