GMC of some kind. Definitley 1948-54, and of the medium-duty variety.

In 1948, GMc proposed 3 tractors, FC-300, FC-350 and FC-450:

According to the covers of the 1953 Series 350-24 and 1954 Series 400-27 brochures, these models were also sold as tractors:

"Ours" could also be a HC-450 or a M450:

(1950 brochure // 1954 one)
As 3-ton model, the FC-450 apparently became HC-450 in 1949, when GMC unveiled its heavy-duty H-Series truck line (known as HC-Series in the IMCDb).

One thing sure: the truck shown in the main picture of this page has the 2-part windshield of a 1947-53 cab from the 1947-55 New Design truck line. Without vent windows, so a 1947-50 model.
This does not exclude the HC-470 model possibility, as this truck was the only HC-Series one (with the HC-450 model) to use the "standard" New Design cab (heavier ones used the "fat cab"). But as several models could be the one of the picture, wouldn't it be more accurate to just identify it as a
