Considering our discussion regarding the Taxicab in Radio Days, I'd say this is a '38 Chevy. /vehicle.php?id=210254 -- Last edit: 2009-01-22 22:44:10 |

In my search for this vehicle /vehicle_210254-Chevrolet-Master-HB-1938.html I think the difference (not necessarily 1 or 2 back lights) is the rear badge. The 1938 Chevy Master that I have found, for example, here http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00076584 , or http://www.acarspecialty.com/images/38ChevyMS/rear_lg.jpg , have its rear badge "vertical"; on the contrary 1937 Chevy Master (even with 2 back lights) had its rear badge "horizontal" as here http://www.kars.com/categories/chevy/6375AP.html , here Link to "www.autabuy.com" , or here http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/Chevrolet/1937_Chevrolet-sept16a.jpg . So I suppose the car of the pic is a 1938 Chevrolet Master -- Last edit: 2009-01-23 10:40:36 |
