Driven by Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), who pulls alongside Bond as he's driving through the mountains in Southern France with a nervous female MI6 employee. Bond can't resist having a race with this femme fatale in a Ferrari, although in real life a DB5 could never keep up with a 355, he gives her a run for her money, but eventually, after nearly mowing down a group of Tour De France cyclists, he gives in to his flustered travel companion and yanks the handbrake, bringing the car to a stop, just in front of stunning view of Monte Carlo.
Xenia Onatopp: Russia is very different now, a land of opportunity.
James Bond: With a new Ferrari in every garage?
Xenia Onatopp: No, not quite. That belongs to a friend.
James Bond: A tip for your friend; the French registration plates for this year's models start with the letter L. Even the counterfeit ones.
