Strange, front fender came from USA version 1956/57, taillight from 1962/67. I can't make head and tail for the rest...

By the size of the windscreen and the height of the doors it's probably from the 50ies. The back lamps are indeed unoriginal, because much newer.
@rljuna: these 1962/67-back-lamps were used until 1975, for the 1200 "Sparkäfer", the "downsized" simple-version. I think, it was not sold in the USA, or?

The bumpers also doesn't look original. They probably are from a 1200 of the lates 60ies or early 70ies. They don't fit, if you compare the front one with the fenders. And as I know, the pre-1967-Convertible usually had the "Export"-bumpers with the overriders.

We had larger taillight assembly when the 1968 model year came out and continued until 1972 model year (1971/72 has red side reflector on the taillight assembly). From 1973 until 1977 (sedan); 1979 (convertible), we have elephant foot taillights.

Most of the series gained by the engine size until the end of the export, we never had multiple engine size choices on the 'Beetle' series on each model years.
