This can either be a C or K Series. I have to look up my list of names for Chevrolet trucks of the late-1960's and early-1970's. |

tire looks pretty close to the fender for a K series, Id say Cheyenne C-Series, 1969/70, comments? |

The logo on the fender looks like it was made to blend in with the C-10 or 20. I was considering a Custom C-Series, because Cheyenne's didn't come out until 1971. |

but would a custom have all that trim? |

A Custom Sport Truck might. But that logo would read CST in the same size as the usual "C" logo. Interestingly enough, the K-Series trucks also used "C" logos. This could just as easily be a C-Series Custom Camper that hasn't hauled a camper since Iran took hostages at the US Embassy. -- Last edit: 2008-12-31 12:15:51 |

UPDATE: Yes it would. The standard C-Series wouldn't. I've got a copy of the "Standard Catalog of Chevrolet Trucks(Pickups & Other Light-Duty Trucks): 1918-1995," by John Gunnell in front of me, and it confirms that this is a Custom C-Series. -- Last edit: 2009-01-20 22:51:28 |
