This and a 57 Caddy Convertible tie for my 2nd favorite Caddys Mason drove...later he drove my favorite Cadillac--a 1959 Caddy! |

Oh, yeah! That '58 in the dark color providing lots of contrast for the bright trim is nice! (Of course, I wish it had been a Series 60 Special sedan, but......) |

Yeah, the dark color always showed up nice in black-n-white...made it really stand out! So, since this was a Series 62...was there a 58 Series 60, or was that an earlier year? I'm trying to learn more about some of the model "specifics" for older Lincolns and Cadillacs. ![]() |

Yes, the Series 60 Special was the top-line non-limo 4-door. |

In response to your comment about wanting to learn more about model specifics, I would recommend 3 sources to start: 1) The Tad Burness photo albums. They are a hodge-podge of images but probably the best overall collection, all arranged by model year. 2) The old guide books like NADA, Red Book, Kelly Blue Book, etc. Great source for accurate model listing. Try E-bay to see if any old ones are for sale. 3) Definitely check out the old car brochure website! They keep adding more brochures and manuals all the time. Coincidence. I just started up with Perry Mason again recently, too. And becoming re-acquainted with all the great cars depicted in that series. |
