Although it has these headlights, it doesn't have the chrome below the rear ones that would identify a late [W123] - 1983. By the shape of the headrests, I would say 1980+. |

Wasn't chrome under the taillights reserved to coupés and 280s? Could actually be a 1983 then. |

You may be right... My German is not very good and I probably misread the German Wikipedia article about the W123  |

Yes, I think Tönz is right. That chrome wouldn´t be mounted on a regular sedan as standard. |
