518i or 520i would be the most logical choices as the 530i was just introduced in the same year. Locally assembled and made for RI, built either by ISC (1988-1993) or Gaya Motors (1993-1997). |

Around 1988-1996 (series date), Indonesian built and Made for RI. 518i, 520i or possibly brand new 530i, best to leave simply as a 5 as currently listed then without knowing which one. Is that clear white rear taillight indicators? |

For Indonesia, 518i was launched in 1991. 520i was the initial model built by ISC, first making its debut in Indonesia for 1988. In 1991, a locally assembled 518i was introduced which was initially planned to be used as a taxi fleet. An LCI was introduced for 1994 in Indonesia featuring wider kidney grilles, standard alloy rims, ABS and the interior colour transitioning to black. In 1996, the 530i was launched for Indonesia. A 530i Individual was also offered. |
